WANTED (2024) is a short filmic experiment that investigates the in-between. As a reiteration of Xyshen’s multimedia performance and installation 3 acts of love (as an adj.), this work places the emphasis on form, exploring the effects of colour, shape, repetition and duration, and embraces each crevasse and collision between the image-film and sound-film. Using crimes of passion as a metaphor for intrusive desire, Wanted seeks to capture the intent and sensation of an escape.
