HOLD ON LET GO
Theatre Replacement (which has SCA alumnus Maiko Yamamoto as Artistic Director and Yamamoto and the SCA's James Long as co-founders) and Company 605 have changed the name of PushOff, their annual collaborative programing series, to HOLD ON LET GO, and also announced its two-part run – PART I: January 23 – 27, 2024 and PART II: January 30 – February 2, 2024 – at The Russian Hall (600 Campbell Ave., Vancouver). Hopeful Monster on the list
Hopeful Monster, the collaborative album from Eve Egoyan and the SCA's Mauricio Pauly, released by No Hay Discos, is included in the list of Best Contemporary Classical Music on Bandcamp for October 2023. Read it HERE.
XINEMA's One Year Cine-Celebration

DBLSPK: Hymn of the Weaver Birds
rice & beans theatre, which has SCA alumnus Pedro Chamale as Artistic Director, has announced their first DBLSPK of the season: SCA alumnus Johnny Wu and Jocelyn Yuchia Chang's Hymn of the Weaver Birds. Exquisite Pressure x The Biting School
What Lab's upcoming Exquisite Pressure will be organized with The Biting School (SCA alumnus Aryo Khakpour and Arash Khakpour). Exquisite Pressure is "a performance residency culminating in a public showcase," which gives participants "30 hours of studio time and a paid stipend to create a 15-20 minute work-in-progress piece, to be shared at a public showing."
