The SCA's Eldritch Priest received a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Connection Grant for his project The New Daydream Imaginary: On the Ethico-Aesthetics of Spontaneous and Non-productive Thought. While you're contemplating what that might involve, consider listening to Priest's Omphaloskepsis, which was released by Halocline Trance in 2022.

TRAction's earth day call
TRAction, a collective co-organized by SFU School for the Contemporary Arts MFA student, Kevin Jesuino, is hosting a three part online workshop facilitated by nehiyaw iskwew (Cree) artist Sandra Lamouche. Here's what they have to say about the workshops: Participants will make artwork or puppets to honour an endangered species of their own choosing. They will record an honour dance together for a video to be shared on Earth Day 2023. Participants are asked to attend all three sessions, however some accommodations can be made. Workshops are April 4, 11 & 18 4pm-5pm PT on ZOOM. For more information and to register, please visit this LINK. This workshop is hosted by TRAction with support from The International Centre of Art for Social Change as part of their FUTURE/forward program.
