Book Launch: Laura U. Marks' The Fold
From Your Body to the Cosmos
Tuesday, May 7, 2024 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Free
Djavad Mowafaghian World Art Centre, 149 W. Hastings St., Vancouver
Please join us to celebrate the publication of The Fold: From Your Body to the Cosmos (Duke University Press). In The Fold, Marks offers a practical philosophy and aesthetic theory for living in an infinitely folded cosmos. With movies, funny diagrams, storytelling, self-care tips, soul-assemblages and other concepts, and sandwiches. The evening will feature a brief reading, a cash bar, and maybe dancing.
