“- Would anyone want this extra unopened can of soup? I bought it without realizing it had lard in it. Also, I just burnt a toast in the oven because I thought the burning smell was the boiling water? What’s going on.. someone take the soup!
- You’re cursed my friend.. maybe you could give it to someone in the street? But you have to open it first? I don’t know how soups work in Canada.
- Canadian soups require those adapter things that have the different sized prongs. At least that’s what the officer told me at the border.”
In this group show for friends, family, SCA faculty, other SCA students, and invested community members, the first year SCA MFA students will share their second collaborative project, themed around materiality. Join them as they present to you a series of interdisciplinary experiences combining performance, movement, sound, music, video, photography, painting, and writing.
