A new collaborative installation by the SCA's Elspeth Pratt and Ben Rogalsky, curated by Denise Oleksijczuk for The Cabinet.

Citing Vancouver's wildly popular steam clock on nearby Water Street, 22 After releases steam at regular intervals from a gridded manhole cover. While the billowing vapour gives free rein to the imagination, by remaking the original setting of the steam clock--a place where some of the city's homeless found warmth--the work invites reflection on the rise of hostile architecture in downtown Vancouver.
