Congratulations, Henry!

The SCA's Henry Daniel won the Distinguished Researcher Award at the 2020 Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology's Research Excellence Awards, which were held virtually on December 9. Sappier gets seasonal with Bern

SCA alumni Carr Sappier – who's also co-teaching the upcoming Skoden Indigenous Film Festival course with Kathleen Mullen for us in the 2021 Spring term (CA 389 (D100): Selected Topics in the Fine and Performing Arts – register for it!) – made a seasonal video for their friend Mike Bern. Go see SCA alumni Shion Skye Carter on the big screen at Granville and Robson Streets in downtown Vancouver, which is showing Flow Tide, a short film Shion realized in collaboration with Japanese calligrapher Kisyuu.
