Spence's Blue waves, green waves

SCA alumni Alexandra Spence has a track, Blue waves, green waves, on this new compilation, with 100% of the proceeds donated to "Support Act, an organisation working to deliver crisis relief services to artists, crew and music workers." Listen to it HERE.

Tong's World River Atlas

SCA alumni Yi Xin Tong is presenting World River Atlas, an ongoing drawing and internet project, on the Vanguard Gallery's site from December 10, 2020 to March 30, 2021. See it HERE.

SFU Galleries' Christopher Lacroix is in "A pot lid for the sky," a two-person exhibition with John Baldessari at The Polygon Gallery (December 10, 2020 – February 7, 2021), inspired by Baldessari's proclamation: “I will not make any more boring art.” Read more HERE.

SCA in WrightSpace 2020

SCA alumni Tanya Marquardt will be part of Playwrights Theatre Centre's WrightSpace 2020 residency program, running December 7 – 20, the first part of which is a "camp week" of collaborative sessions that includes SCA alumni guests June Fukumura and Keely O’Brien (Popcorn Galaxies) and Derek Chan (rice & beans theatre). Fortes' new gig

SCA alumni Luciana Fortes has a new job working as a Student Experience Coordinator at the Story Institute, an acting school that focuses on film and TV. She's still also directing Aplica!, an organization she co-founded with SFU alumni Vanessa Milost Gonzales that assists international students with application processes and getting scholarships and financial aid at universities in the USA and Canada.
