Associate Professor Lara Aknin co-authors World Happiness Report 2019
Associate Professor Lara B. Aknin has co-authored a chapter in the World Happiness Report 2019 which is a survey on the status of worldwide happiness by ranking 156 countries and their citizens' happiness. An example of her findings in the report include how generous spending can lead to increased happiness, which you can read more about in a recent FASS article.
Lara attended the launch of the World Happiness Report 2019 at the United Nations in New York, NY, USA in celebration of the International Day of Happiness for March 20th.

Happiness and Prosocial Behavior: An Evaluation of the Evidence
Associate Professor Lara Aknin's research interests include prosocial behaviour, happiness and well-being. She has co-authored in various publications, which are listed in detail on her department profile:
