Graduate Handbooks (click here)

It is highly recommended that you read these!! The Graduate Student Handbook is for everyone, both clinical and experimental students, and covers a lot of the research related expectations and gives you a handy breakdown of resources that are available to you as a grad student. The Clinical Psychology Graduate Program Handbook is specifically for students in the clinical program and covers the clinical training aspects of the program.  Something else you may want to consider reading is the expectations that you should havve for your supervisor.

If you are having issues with your progress in the program

If you find yourself in a situation where you are not happy with your progress in the program and are experiencing issues (e.g. supervisor issues, course issues, etc.), you should start by talking to your supervisor.  You can also always talk to the psych caucus. You can email one of us and/or feel free to join our monthly caucus meetings. We send emails regularaly to the student body when and where we hold our meetings. We are always here to give advice! There are also other confidential resources that you have access to:

1. Talk to the Graduate Chair.

2. Talk to the Ombudsperson. The Ombudsperson can help students make plans to overcome any difficulties they may have at the university. They are an independent and confidential resource.
