Association of Indian Labour Historians
The Association of Indian Labour Historians organizes a biennial conference on historical aspects of the development of working classes in India in particular and world in general. This is held in collaboration with the VV Giri National Labour Institute (NLI). The latter is an autonomous institute funded by the Government of India.
The Archives of Indian Labour was set up in July 1998 as a collaborative project of the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute and the Association of Indian Labour Historians. The Archives of Indian Labour is dedicated to the cause of preserving and making accessible the fast depleting documents of the working class.
