Distribution of Rough-toothed Dolphins:

There was only two confirmed oppotunistic sightings of rough-toothed dolphins recorded over the four field seasons of effort of the leeward coast of Domincia. The rough-toothed dolphin is aptly named as their conical teeth have lines of enamel along their teeth making them feel rough. Figure 11, below, identifies the location and distribution of all rough-toothed dolphin sightings across all four field seasons.

For distributions for other species, click on species of interest: sperm whale , pantropical spotted dolphin , Fraser's dolphin, bottlenose dolphin, false killer whale, humpback whale, short-finned pilot whale, melon-headed whale, Cuvier's beaked whale, striped dolphin, Atlantic spotted dolphin, Gervais' beaked whale, and the distribution of unidentified sightings.
