Distribution of Pantropical Spotted Dolphins:
A total of 67 confirmed oppotunistic sightings of pantropical spotted dolphins were recorded over the four field seasons of effort of the leeward coast of Domincia. This species was the most often sighted of the delphinid species. Figure 5, below, identifies the location and distribution of all pantropical spotted dolphin sightings across all four field seasons. This species was sighted along the majority of the coast both near and offshore. In one instance, this species was seen in a mixed group with Fraser's dolphins.
