The Faculty of Education has physical locations and delivers programs from Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver campuses. Each campus has different space booking procedures detailed below.
Due to program delivery needs, the majority of spaces in the Education Building are priority-booked and held for Faculty of Education use.

The following rooms are available within the Faculty of Education building at SFU's Burnaby Campus.
Zoom Enabled Rooms
The following rooms have built-in Zoom systems: EDB 8518, EDB 8540, EDB 8551, EDB 8620.1, EDB 8620.2 and EDB 8625.
Portable Video Conference
A portable video conference unit and mobile TV running Zoom is available to book for smaller meetings in any Education Building (EDB) room and classroom for up to 15 people. Please book in advance.
Note: If using a room for the first time, contact the technical team (educ-tech@sfu.ca) in advance for assistance with technology and room access.

Viewing Room Availability:
In SFU Mail Calendar view, click “Add calendar”, “From directory”, and then type “SRYC 5200”. You can now view the availability calendar for this room.
Booking the room:
In SFU Mail Calendar, create the event for the date/time of the booking and add loc-sryc5200@sfu.ca as an attendee. You will receive an email confirming the booking or declining, as per the room’s availability.

Use: Bookable space that supports employee use and employee-hosted activities including group meetings, team meetings, focus groups, class activities, etc.

Capacity: 1 – 5 people
Equipment: Drop-in Workspace with monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a meeting table with four chairs.
Note: Space is fob-access only.
Room SRY 5266
Capacity: 1 – 4 people
Equipment: Drop-in Workspace with managed Mac computer, mouse, keyboard, and a meeting table with three chairs.

Faculty of Education staff manage the use of and access to the Faculty's rooms. To ensure the safety and security of persons, facilities and the University, conditions and/or limitations may be imposed.

We are currently not taking external booking request outside of Faculty of Education programming and events.

- Date(s) of room booking (day/week/month/term)
- Booking start time and end time
- Expected number of participants including requestor(s)
- Room number if known/preferred
- Purpose/description of booking
- Technical support required
