GROW AS AN EDUCATOR OR PROFESSIONAL
Advance your education and your career with our post-baccalaureate diplomas.
Post Baccalaureate Diplomas (PBD)
If you are a teacher looking to upgrade your skills or specialize, our post baccalaureate diplomas (PBD) are a great option. Designed to accommodate busy schedules, you can begin your PBD coursework in any semester. It is not always possible to complete a PBD in two or three semesters (based on course availability), so you will be given five years to complete a PBD at SFU.
FAMILIARIZATION PROGRAM
The B.C. Education System Familiarization Program is a non-credit online course required for individuals who hold teaching credentials issued outside of the province of British Columbia and who are seeking their Certificate of Qualification in B.C. (via the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care, Teacher Regulation Branch).
