Please tell us how you first discovered your program.

From my colleagues.

Please tell us why you chose the Faculty of Education at SFU for your studies.

The people I know who have completed the program spoke very highly of their experience.

Who is a faculty member you have enjoyed working with and why?

Cher Hill and Margaret MacDonald were very understanding of my learning style and offered tremendous support during the program.

What inspires you to learn and continue your education?

I really enjoy seeing what other professionals are doing in their practice. I have learned so much about strength-based learning and how to implement it in my classroom.

What would you say to prospective students who are considering graduate school in the Faculty of Education?

Go for it! Never stop learning, be willing to let your guard down and critically reflect on your practice.

Is there anything else you wish to share?

The faculty in the MEd program are extremely knowledgeable, professional and most importantly they model the techniques they speak on.
