Wishes:	Dear Thelma, I wish I could be there to celebrate your 100th birthday with you this June.  We'll just have to wait to do so in a belated celebration in August.  From the day I met you, back in 1993, when I arrived at SFU 6-months pregnant and scared to death, starting my first "real job" you were an inspiration.  It helped a lot to have one of Science's few full professors at the time go out of her way to make me feel welcomed.  Thank you!  And have a great birthday!  We'll be thinking of you!  Big hugs,  Jamie
