Intramural Leagues

SFU Intramurals are a great way to get out and play a sport you love with your friends or make new ones. Intramurals are for everyone: students, staff/faculty, alumni, and community members. Lead your team to the championship game and have a great time in the process!

How to participate

SFU Intramurals are open to all Students, Staff & Faculty with a valid Burnaby Campus Membership. To activate your membership please click here.

Community members must have a minimum of a 1 month membership to be eligible. (Day passes are not accepted)

Register as an individual

  • Competitive leagues: Join the free agent list on the specific league registration day.

  • Recreational leagues: Join one of our individual teams that are created on the specific league registration day.

Register as a full team

Bring your friends and sign up as a team! (If needed, you can pick up extra players from individual teams or the free agent list)

The minimum number of players required to play is 5-7 players, dependent upon the sport. Please see the sports code of conduct for more information.

Where:
Recreation Sports office in the Lorne Davies Complex, Central Gym Lobby

When:
To be announced each semester. Registration usually takes place the second week of the academic term. 

How the process works:
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Team fees (if applicable) are needed to confirm registration. Late registration is only accepted if the league is not full.
