Date Entry
Sometimes it is necessary to request a user to submit a date. This question will display three pull down menus (Year, Month and Day). WebSurvey will verify that the date is valid when the respondent submits. (No February 31st allowed)
There are three fields you need to fill out to create a Date Entry questions:
- Question Text - Will appear as the title of the question. (eg. "What is your birthday?")
- Start Year - This is the earliest year that will appear in pull down list. Choose a range appropriate to the question. If asking for the graduation date of a recent high school grad then 2004 might be a good choice. If you are asking for a birthdate, you might want to go back as far 1920.
- Latest Year - This is the last year that will appear in the pull down list. If you are asking for the birthdate of adults, then the latest year could be 1989.
