Comment Box
The Comment Box question is useful for recording large blocks of text, up to 8000 characters.
Often used to capture free form comments and answers to essay questions.
Be careful when asking open ended questions, they are much more difficult to compile. If you can limit the choices to a handful of responses, you can use a multiple choice question and have a much easier time compiling your results.
There are two fields and an optional check box you need to fill out for a Title Page:
- Question Text - Will appear as the title of the question.
- Check to make this a required question - Check this box if you want to force the respondent to provide an answer to this question.
- Default Text - If you want to give the respondent a head start you can fill in some text that will appear in the comment box when the page is first loaded.
