Message from the Dean
"As Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Simon Fraser University, I am delighted to serve the largest and most diverse Faculty at SFU and to work with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the wider community to build a stimulating learning and research environment. What we do in FASS is framed by two basic commitments: to help develop an engaged and informed citizenry primed for a lifetime actively involved in civic and public life; and to equip students with the knowledge and skill-sets they need to take advantage of the diverse work opportunities that will come their way as well as to adapt to an environment that will change over the course of their life. I invite you to learn more about our Faculty and our shared commitment to the value of education."
