Directors Education Program (DEP)
The Directors Education Program, jointly developed by the Institute of Corporate Directors and the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, helps experienced directors like you build on your expertise, fine-tune your skills for around the boardroom table, and strengthen your capacity to create and protect value for your organization. You can expect an interactive 12‐day program of roundtable discussions, real‐time case studies and on‐point insights from leading governance experts. Taught in four three-day modules over one year, you’ll build an extended network of leading directors who bring better governance to Canada and its communities.
ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program (DEP) Diversity Scholarship
The ICD-Rotman DEP Diversity Scholarship aims to facilitate the development of a diverse representation in boardrooms across all sectors of the Canadian economy by providing access to governance education, to advance and strengthen directors' contributions to Canada's boardrooms and beyond.
This scholarship program allows underrepresented individuals to gain a strong governance education through Canada's leading director education program, the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program (DEP). Preference is given to those who demonstrate a financial need and belong to one of the following groups: women, Indigenous Peoples, people with visible or invisible/episodic disabilities, members of racialized communities, and those who identify as 2SLGBTQI+.

Not-For-Profit (NFP) Governance Essentials Program
The ICD-Rotman Not-For-Profit Governance Essentials Program, offered in collaboration with SFU Beedie Executive Education, is a two-day intensive program focused on key accountabilities and responsibilities for NFP leaders. You will learn best practices in governance, build group decision-making skills, apply change management principles, and understand your fiduciary duty, all through team-based learning. Invention to Innovation (i2I) Skills Training
Indigenous Leadership Development Program
The Indigenous Leadership Development Program, formerly known as June in Vancouver (JiV), provides professional development opportunities for Indigenous leaders and those working in the area of Indigenous affairs. This program is based on the best available research and offered in partnership with the Native Nations Institute (NNI) at the University of Arizona. If you complete six courses in either program, you are eligible for a non-credit certificate from the Native Nations Institute.

CPA Canada Advanced Data Management Certificate Program
In collaboration with CPA Canada and KPMG Canada, this non-credit online program is custom designed for Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) who have five or more years of experience post-qualification as an analyst, manager, consultant, controller, director of finance, or currently in another similar role. The program is comprised of five courses: (1) Introduction to a Data Analytic Framework; (2) Visual Storytelling with Data; (3) Data Governance: Risk Strategy and Data Privacy; (4) Business Intelligence, Automation and AI; and (5) Applied Accounting Analytics.
