Executive MBA

If you elect to take the Americas MBA for Executives, you will study with your EMBA cohort as usual during the first year. For your second year, you’ll get together with students from the partner universities to take your final courses over four intensive nine-day residencies at the participating schools.

At each campus, your international cohort will meet at partner universities to complete coursework, observe local business practices, attend cultural events and collaborate on a two term global capstone strategy project.

• As well as forming part of your SFU Beedie EMBA, you earn an additional Graduate Certificate in Business in the Americas.
• Classes and coursework are in English. 
• There is no additional tuition for the Americas MBA for Executives stream, however you are responsible for their your accommodation, travel and living expenses.

You’ll examine elements of strategic thinking, strategic analysis, the tasks and processes associated with strategy formulation and implementation. You’ll also learn the implications of aligning operations and culture of an enterprise to match the requirements of its strategy in a global context.

Learn and develop the cultural intelligence needed when dealing with a global business environment, through exposure to the dilemmas and opportunities that arise within international and multicultural work environments.
