Our specialized coursework and electives at SFU Beedie embody our commitment to developing innovative and socially responsible leaders with a global perspective. From Analytics and Digital Transformation to Innovation and Value Creation to Financial Analysis, each area of focus equips students to excel in today's dynamic business landscape. Stand-alone electives in project management and negotiations further enrich our MBA experience, enabling students to customize their journey according to their career aspirations while upholding our core values of Diversity, Action, Research and Engagement with Purpose (DARE).
Specialized coursework options depend on several important factors. Course offerings are subject to sufficient student interest, as each course requires a minimum enrolment threshold to ensure a rich and immersive learning experience. Specific offerings may vary based on student demand and other essential considerations. Not all specialized coursework options will be available each year.

"Operations lie at the heart of any organization. We master the theory that provides an integrative framework to understand key dimensions, and apply the theory to a broad range of contexts so students can make a positive difference in their own work environment from day one."
Sudheer Gupta

"Grasping Indigenous business environments is critical for work in Canada to respond to a changing economic climate that accounts for UNDRIP and reconciliation. Together, we explore global and local contexts to build an understanding of meaningful relationships with Indigenous peoples."
