Historical Admission Grade Ranges
How Simon Fraser University calculates your admission evaluation depends on the requirements of the faculty or program you are applying to and your admission category. Review our Admission Requirements for details.
The following admission evaluation ranges reflect the historical acceptance grade ranges from the past three years. Students are encouraged to use these ranges as a guide to inform potential eligibility for admission to their desired program. However, grades equal to or higher than those listed below do not guarantee an offer of admission.

Canadian and International High School Applicants
If you are completing a Canadian High School curriculum outside Quebec, your admission will be based on an evaluation of all approved Grade 11 and 12 courses, with greater emphasis on List A courses. Requirements for direct admission as an International High School student vary by the curriculum and/or country where you are completing your studies.
For students completing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program, a minimum of 26 points is required for admission consideration to all programs. The competitive minimum varies by program.
