Lower Division CSPAN Requirements SPAN 100 - Introductory Spanish I (3) SPAN 110 - Introductory Spanish II (3) SPAN 200 - Intermediate Spanish I (3) SPAN 210 - Intermediate Spanish II (3)

Students must complete four Spanish language courses including all courses from the above list:

Elective Requirements: Any WL course (3) SPAN 301 - Advanced Spanish Grammar and Writing (3) SPAN 302 - Spanish Conversation Through Cinema (3)

Students must complete a total of 2 elective courses from the above list

Note: With prior permission form the departmental advisor (wlladv@sfu.ca), students may count other Spanish-related courses which do not appear on on this list towards their elective requirements.
Note: A maximum of six units from either transfer, exchange or course challenges may be used toward this certificate.
Note: You do not need to have completed the prerequisites to declare as INTENDED.
