NOTE: All students in good academic standing can declare the language certificate, even before completing any pre-requisites.

Note: With prior permission form the departmental advisor (wlladv@sfu.ca), students may count other China-related courses which do not appear on on this list.
Note: Work experience/practicum term is not required.
Note: A maximum of six transfer credit units of 100 division language courses (only CHIN 100 and/or CHIN 110; CHIN 190, and/or CHIN 191) may be used toward this certificate. Such requests must be submitted to the departmental advisor.
Note: You do not need to have completed the prerequisites to declare as INTENDED. 

Your SFU computing ID serves as signature on this declaration form, you will also be emailed by the department advisor for final confirmation
