Commitment to Sustainability
By building sustainability objectives and practices into operational decisions and projects, SFU is working towards the United Nations-led emission reduction targets for Race to Zero that will see 85 per cent GHG emissions reductions by 2030, net zero reductions of direct emissions by 2035 and net zero of all emissions by 2050.

We participate in SFU's Sustainable Spaces certification program, which promotes robust and efficient event processes, reducing resource consumption and environmental impact.

Our Re-use For Good initiative aims to eliminate single-use products, championing the use of reusable alternatives to reduce plastic waste.
