MECS actively invests in social enterprise partnerships including H.A.V.E Culinary Training Society and Tayybeh to support local communities and empower marginalized groups. H.A.V.E provides culinary training and job opportunities to individuals facing employment barriers, while Tayybeh offers economic support to Syrian refugee women through traditional cuisine. These collaborations align SFU’s commitment to social responsibility with community development, fostering positive change and sustainable growth.
