Biography

Dr. Farnan has over three decades of experience in addiction and occupational medicine, which has included work in the areas of detoxification, harm reduction, residential treatment, and recovery-oriented systems of care. Dr. Farnan’s research interests include recovery in community and corrections settings, as well as Recovery Capital. He believes that recovery from addiction is an individual journey, and he is particularly committed to reducing the stigma that surrounds entering recovery.
