Wildfire Resilience and Climate Action on Burnaby Mountain

This workshop will include a series of panel presentations and collaborative dialogues on the topics of wildfire resilience and climate action on Burnaby mountain. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from Indigenous leaders, university researchers, and community members who are working to make the mountain more resilient to our changing climate, and participate in a dialogue on priorities for enhancing mitigation of, and adaptation to, wildfire risk. The event will close with a keynote presentation from the award-winning author of Fire Weather, John Vaillant.
