SFU’s Bullying and Harassment Policy, GP 47 is informed by WorkSafeBC legislation. The WorkSafeBC definition by the University is broad. It captures “inappropriate conduct or comments”, which the person knew or reasonably ought to have known would cause the recipient to be humiliated or intimidated and there is no need to establish that the behaviour created a humiliating, intimidating or hostile working or learning environment.
