Pink Shirt Day 2024
SFU is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community where all feel welcome, safe, accepted, and appreciated. In connection to the solidarity pink shirt day exudes, this year we have partnered with colleagues and partners at SFU and in Student Services to highlight resources and supports available at SFU to any students impacted by bullying or harassment.
Join us to learn more about all the SFU community supports & services that protect students throughout their SFU journey.
Visit us on February 28 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the following locations to learn about supports and services available to all SFU students - not only on Pink Shirt Day, throughout their journey at SFU!:
SFU Burnaby - AQ North Concourse
SFU Vancouver - Harbour Centre
SFU Surrey - Mezzanine
The event will have takeaways, activities, and opportunities for community dialogue!
Supports & services available at Pink Shirt Day student resource tables above:
- Bullying & Harassment Central Hub
- Office of Student Support Rights & Responsibilities (SSRR)
- Human Rights Office (HRO)
- Conflict Resolution & Investigation Specialist (CRIS)
- Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office (SVSPO)

Also, to be an active bystander and caring member of our community, we all need to understand the impact of bullying and harassment, and the barriers or limitations to reporting that may exist. The Active Bystander Network (ABN) is a unique group of student volunteers helping us all learn how to support each other with care!
