Terms of Reference | The award will be granted annually to a Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences student with at least 90 units who exemplifies the aspects of a well-rounded student scholar: academic excellence and community involvement. Academic excellence is based on academic merit as determined by cumulative grade point average (CGPA). Community involvement may be service to the University community or the community at large. Students should submit the following documentation: - a one page cover letter describing your recent unpaid volunteer/community service; - a resume outlining unpaid volunteer service, including dates and total hours of community service for the past 2 years; - at least one reference letter supporting your recent community/volunteer involvement. The scholarship will be made by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee. |
