| Terms of Reference | The Alumni Association Outstanding Student Leadership Award provides an annual award of approximately $2,000. The award will be granted to a student in good academic standing in any Faculty who is in his/her 3rd or 4th year with a minimum of thirty (30) units completed at SFU. The recipient will have demonstrated an outstanding performance or leadership in another endeavor at SFU or in the broader community. The achievement may be in athletics or the arts, in service to the University or to the community at large. Nominations, including a letter and resume from the nominee and a supporting letter from an individual who can speak to the achievements of the nominee, should be sent from the Chair or Director of the nominee's department or school to the Registrar. The award will be made by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee. Presentation of the Alumni Associations Outstanding Student Leadership Award will take place at the annual Outstanding Alumni Awards Ceremony.. Applications should be submitted to Financial Aid and Awards by April 16th. |
