SFU Services and Resources
SFU Career Services provides a range of options for students and recent alumni who require assistance with career development and job searches. Career Services also coordinates on-campus recruiting and specialized career events. Its multidisciplinary team of Career Advisors and Career Peer Educators assists students with all career planning needs, including: identifying career options and career goals; developing work search strategies; creating successful resumes and cover letters; and finding volunteer and internship opportunities. Career Services offers one-on-one advising, group workshops and career fairs, and has an extensive library of traditional and online resources.
Career Services for Students with Disabilities
SFU Career Services can also assist you with developing skills regarding the most appropriate ways to disclosure your disability status and needs in employment situations, and can help you access disability support in the workforce. Any career related questions, including your rights as an employee with disabilities, can also be addressed by a Career Advisor. Career Services can also help you get started with a targeted job search specific to your needs – and more.
