Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities
Opportunities Fund (OF) for Persons with Disabilities is an initiative of Human Resources and Social Development Canada which helps eligible persons with disabilities to prepare for, obtain and keep employment or self-employment. Supported activities include encouraging employers to hire workers with disabilities, helping individuals start their own business and providing skills and work experience. BC Employment Strategy for Persons with Disabilities
The BC Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance introduced the Employment Strategy for Persons with Disabilities to focuses on developing a broad range of new skills training services and employment-related programs to assist persons with disabilities into the labour market and to improve their employment outcomes.
Components of the Employment Strategy for Persons with Disabilities include:
