Close Encounter
Interactive system
By: Annie Vo, Frentzen Taslim, Kate Luong
Course: IAT 267 Introduction to Technological Systems
Description: Our project “Close Encounter” is an interactive design project that facilitates the experience of interacting with an animal in a zoo setting. We selected the red panda as our primary animal because it is one of the most endangered species today. We aim to educate our audience about red pandas by using a physical system of the red panda and it’s environment, as well as a display screen to display facts about the panda. As a result, “Close Encounter” offers a more ethical and engaging alternative to traditional zoo experiences, as it creates a highly interactive platform for learning about this species.
