We Are Fighters
By: Lanyuke Wang and Changdong He
Course: IAT 344 Moving Images
Project description: This project is about the lives of people with different social identities in China during the pandemic, showing the impact of the pandemic on their lives. The project will mainly explore two ordinary social groups, students and workers. Through interviews and observation, we have recorded their experiences to show how the Chinese people have faced the pandemic and how they are fighting the pandemic with their own unique abilities and to contribute to society. The purpose of the project is to embody a spirit of ordinary hero and unity. While showing the different impacts of the epidemic on them, we will also show the real scene of ordinary Chinese people fighting the pandemic.
