Storge (game)
By: Yi Fan (Zev) Tang, Stephen Kerschbaumer, Isabelle Prasobsin, Aman Singh
Course: IAT 313 Narrative and New Media
Description: Storge is a 2D pixel survival horror game in which the player takes on the role of June, a detective who must uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of her old orphanage.
Taking inspiration from classic RPG Maker games such as Ib, the game involves exploration, simple puzzles, and avoiding enemies. The game mainly takes place in the Veil, which is an alternate nightmarish realm within the orphanage. The Veil contains multiple areas for the player to explore, with each containing puzzles that the player has to complete before moving onto the next area. The player must navigate the Veil and solve these puzzles, all while avoiding a terrifying beast in order to unravel the mystery of what occurred at the orphanage, as well as June’s connection to the orphanage.
