The Mushroom Pavilion (parametric design)
By: Ellie Kim, Priscilla Mayfield, Hinata Nozawa
Course: IAT 233 Spatial Design
Description: The Mushroom Pavilion, designed to be located in Holland Park, Surrey, is a parametric architectural structure inspired by porcelain fungus. Comprising three varying-sized mushrooms with unique curvatures, the pavilion captures organic fluidity through parametric design. It serves as a relaxing and socializing space, featuring an abstract sculpture surrounded by organic-shaped benches. The pavilion seamlessly integrates with the park's natural elements, providing a comforting environment for visitors to engage with nature and art.
