Heaven and Back (Kinetic Typography)
By: Maggie Chang
Course: IAT 100 Digital Image Design
Description: This kinetic typography project was created over the course of 2 weeks using Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Procreate.
The task involved choosing song lyrics and bringing it to life through kinetic typography and motion graphics. I chose the song HEAVEN AND BACK by Chase Atlantic as I felt the song had a rich story to tell and posed as an interesting challenge to capture the essence of the lyrics visually.
Not only was this an extremely fun project to do, but it was also an educational one. I encountered many challenges throughout the process and was able to adapt by experimenting with different styles. Doing so allowed me to gain valuable insights into design and motion graphics.
