The Last Croissant
By: Alyssa Umbal, Jonathan Newman, Herman Chan, and Jasper Precilla
Course: IAT 343 Animation
Project description: Inspired by the absurd dramatizations of comedy animes and the style of the animated short film Killer Bean, our team decided to make an action-oriented animated short that can showcase our skills in 3D modeling, storyboarding, and animation. Our project is a fast-paced action animated short set within a bakery. In our short, two characters have an epic duel for the last croissant within the bakery. We took a low-poly approach to this film and designed two characters within a semi-realistic backdrop.
