Adobe Photoshop remains unrivalled in the world of computer graphics software. Whether you wish to simply crop a photo or apply one of many special effects, Photoshop allows you to manipulate any image, or seamlessly combine multiple images with each other.

Students will learn the basics of Photoshop by working through instructor-led projects. Over the course of two full days, basic image adjustments and manipulations will lead to more advanced image altering techniques, including working with multiple layers within files, creating paths and layer masks, and selecting particular areas of images to change while leaving other areas untouched. Photo retouching, colour correction, and special effects will also be covered, providing students with the skills needed to work extensively with images of all kinds.

Familiarity with the Mac operating system is recommended (but not required), and no earlier experience with Photoshop is necessary.

“At first I thought this was a simple intro course but after two days this course totally exceeded my expectations. The printouts, tutorials, hands-on components and classroom text were great. It was exactly what I wanted.” —Clara Wong
