2025 Grants-in-Aid of Research Competition (GIA)  

NOW OPEN - Notice of Intent by Oct 15th. Full application by Nov 20th.  

The GIA program supports research projects related to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) aligned with Crohn’s and Colitis Canada’s Promise and strategic directions. Funding is limited to a maximum of $125,000 annually for up to three years, contingent upon available funds.

2025 Innovations in IBD Research (INN)

NOW OPEN - Full Application by Nov 20th. 

The INN program supports novel or innovative approaches to IBD research projects directly related to IBD. This grant is intended to stimulate and support research that may not be encompassed within the boundaries of traditional medical research. Research proposals must conform to sound research principles and may aim to collect pilot data for follow-on application(s). Our organization seeks mission relevance and excellence as well as innovation.  

Grants to a maximum of $50 000 for one year may be awarded.
