GUESTS

Convocation is an exciting and proud moment to mark the achievements of our graduands. Family and friends are invited to share in that excitement by joining us at convocation.

Guests will need tickets to enter Convocation Mall and prior to arriving should review our guest information and policies.

Guests unable to attend in-person can watch the live broadcast through YouTube on the convocation homepage. Ceremony recordings are available afterwards to watch on demand.

SFU respectfully acknowledges that convocation is hosted on the traditional, unceded and continually occupied territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) peoples. There is a great amount of work to be done towards reconciliation and systemic decolonization within the university. We are committed to educating ourselves and others, respectfully including Indigenous practices, protocols and ceremony into convocation, and continuing to build meaningful relationships with Indigenous peoples across these lands.
