Before or after the day, you can get professional formal graduation photographs taken. The University has provided a set of academic regalia for all Simon Fraser University degrees to Artona. Visit blog.artona.com for more information about your graduation photo options!
Photographers from Artona will be at your ceremony to take a photograph of you at your special moment of recognition on-stage. They will contact you directly with information about how to order your photographs. If you do not hear from them within a week, you can contact them through their website.
Artona will be set up on the north side of Freedom Square (between the Library and the AQ) on convocation day for four-pose individual and family portrait sessions before and after each ceremony. Graduands are photographed on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit them after you pick up your regalia!

Artona’s Mobile Photo Studio - SFU Burnaby Campus - April 8-19, 2024
Artona will be setting up a pop-up studio at the SFU Burnaby campus, room EDB 7628 (Education Building) from April 8 to 19, 2024. Click to book
The session includes business headshots, your choice of casual/formal outfit photos and grad portraits.
Up to two guests and pets are welcome to join you for a photo.
Cost: $15 sitting fee + $60 refundable deposit. When you login online to order your photos, there will be a $60 credit in your account, or it may be refunded (within 30 days) by returning your photo preview booklet to Artona.

Degree frames
A series of beautifully crafted degree and picture frames, especially designed for Simon Fraser University, will be available for purchase through the SFU Spirit Shop.
