Introduction

In this GEOG 355 project, we examine several major geologic hazards of the GVRD and determine areas most at risk from these hazards and the population that is affected.

Three major geologic hazards of the GVRD consists of earthquakes, landslides, and flooding.  We seek to analyze areas in the GVRD which are most at risk from these hazards and determine the number of people affected in those areas. Multi-criteria weighted analysis will be performed to achieve these results.

For simplifying layout and display, vector and raster files shown in this project are smaller versions of the original, without the legend. Clicking on the thumbnail images will allow for viewing of the full sized original images with a legend included.
