Geothermal geology.
Dr. Jeff Witter is the Principal Geoscientist at Innovate Geothermal Ltd., a Vancouver- based, independent consulting firm, focused on the exploration and development of geothermal energy resources for electricity production or direct use. He holds a degree in geophysics from Occidental College (California) as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Hawaii and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, both in volcanic geology. His primary areas of research interest are: early stage geothermal exploration, exploration data analysis and interpretation, and 3D geological & geophysical modelling & visualization
