CO-FOUNDER AND PARTNER, IMPACT PLUS CONSULTING

Precious is a visionary, storyteller and systems thinker who transforms how we engage in dialogue, strategy development and community engagement with whole hearts to create meaningful impact. She co-founded Impact Plus Consulting, a social impact consulting firm that provides strategy development and community engagement services to corporate, nonprofit and government organizations.

She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over a decade of experience and expertise in community development, human-centered design, participatory action research, leadership and board governance.

She holds a Master’s degree in Community Development from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. She serves on multiple nonprofit boards locally and nationally including CityHive, SFU Alumni Association and the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Canada.

Among her professional achievements, she was nominated for a YWCA Women of Distinction Award and led an innovative public engagement project with nearly 2,200 participants that received national recognition in the IAP2 Canada Core Values Awards.

She is guided by her Christian faith, a sense of purpose and passion for community. As an avid community builder, Precious has hosted over 30 dinner conversations using spoken word and storytelling to facilitate authentic and meaningful connections. Reach out if you would like to be her next guest!
